Mrs. Harriette J. Hartman, 65, wife of Robert Hartman, formerly of Crawfordsville, died in the hospital at the State Soldiers’ home at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. She and her husband, a Spanish-American War veteran came to the home in June. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Fred A. Hartman, Michigan City and two sisters, Mrs. Esta Miller, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Leona Stonebraker, Indianapolis. Services at 10 a.m. Friday from the Soldiers’ Home Chapel, Rev. Otis Jones, Chaplain, officiating; burial, Soldiers’ Home cemetery. - kbz
